Integration

TanahMu Digital Weather Station does have the flexibility to allow 3rd Party Platform integration via RESTFUL API and these are all subjected to Post Purchasing commercial arrangements. Below, a sample RESTFUL API request and response.

Automation & Use cases

Based on the collection data from the Digital Weather Station, there are steps can be taken to further automate processes in the Farm or Greenhouse? Based on the telemetry collected from the Weather Stations, there are a few operations can be derived and execute should the threshold being triggered. Automated water sprinkling or Mist system can be triggered if ambient temperature hits 38° Celsius and the operation will be carried out for 30mins. This automation would be useful for temperature sensitive produced. For Greenhouses, relative humidity is a very important environment aspect regardless of what the produce are. If the RH readings in the Greenhouse exceeded 80%, this threshold should trigger the ventilation fans until the RH reading comes down to a satisfactory %. Perhaps in another complicated scenario, same RH reading at 80% but temperature reads 24° Celsius, this can be a secondary factor to fulfill before triggering the ventilation fans.

TanahMu Automation offers a number of Interfacing mechanism. For low power equipment control via Dry Contact circuitries, there are industrial standard Relay circuits with RS232 I/O. There are other customized interfacing methods that can be arranged.

• To upload telemetry to the cloud Servers, Digital Weather Station has connection options of WiFi, GSM/LTE, LoRaWAN/LTE.
• Internally, communication and data retrieval from sensors are RS485, RS232 and some other Analogue interfaces if required.
